The project represents the redesign of a private apartment in a small, three-floor residential building with a quiet neighborhood and lots of greenery. Lavishly illuminated, existing space, crammed with dark and worn-out furniture and layout not corresponding to the requirements of a growing family. So the main goal was the creation of a functional space that resonates with the needs of the client and contemporary living.
To achieve a family atmosphere and to increase the amount of bright light materials that are natural and durable, combined with a warm/bright color palette. A combination of different designs and finishes creates independent spaces, each serving the user’s needs. By removing non-structural elements and repositioning partition walls, as well as using the main hallway as a crossroad and communication, the division of living, guest and private sleeping quarters became visible on the new layout.
