La Michoacana Plus is North American chain of ice cream shops, famous for its specific spicy ice cream flavors. They have opened first outlet, featured here, located in Deira City Center shopping mall, in effort to expand its business to the MENA region.

Their existing units in USA are mostly of the street type, and it was necessary to adapt the existing brand to the new market and local guidelines. The store is designed to make the best use of the shape of the existing unit and enable more efficient business within the framework of the shopping center and “food court”.

Inspiration was sought in traditional Mexican colors, based on the combination of a bright color palette, balanced with terrazzo-textured tiles running throughout the floor and back wall of the shop, calming the impact of vibrant colors and shapes.

Dominant arches, bright color palettes and a large number of light sources made this place a magnet for all sweets lovers.
