The project brief was the creation of a comfortable home for a five-member family, which reflects the requirements of contemporary living along with the influence of Arabic culture and religion. Villa is located in the Al Khalwaneej area, on the outskirts of Dubai.
Main Majlis, in other words, the guest reception area, is dominating the ground floor, overlooking the open patio and yard area. Various connected programs and areas surround this central space with emphasis on modularity of space and the natural conditions. Separation for privacy, semi-privacy & connectivity is reflected through perforated screens with Islamic patterns.
Therefore, careful selection of the furniture and elements design gives an overall experience of living in an urban villa with heritage tradition. So, it is a dialogue between two worlds.
