This store is located in the heritage-style area of Marsa Al Seef. The intention was to combine both influences of Arabic culture and design with the efficiency of a contemporary optical store equipped with modular furniture. Carefully chosen finishes like solid oak wood skirting, worn-out metal, grooved geometric patterns, porcelain tiles, etc., are providing a feeling of an informal home-like space.
Interior elements such as traditional solid wooden ceilings, patterned Moroccan flooring and wall-mounted mashrabiya screens combined with antique finish lighting by Tom Dixon are creating a warm, souk-like atmosphere. Geometric pattern prints are visible on acrylic modular eyewear displays, so they can blend into the context.
Retail space where tradition meets contemporary design.
